Shannon is Co-Founder and CEO of Fiddler’s Greens, a wellness brand of whole-plant tinctures, topicals, and sun grown flowers, and High Tide Distribution, a distributor of small batch premium heritage cannabis products.

She grew up on a farm in South Texas, graduated from Texas A&M with a BBA, and spent most of her adult career working as a project manager in the technology space managing major software implementations and mergers/acquisitions.

She and her husband, Cameron, have been cannabis advocates since the 90s and they started cultivating cannabis over 10 years ago in Sonoma County to manage her chronic back pain and were among the first cultivators of CBD-rich flower in the US. In 2015 she left the technology space to focus full time on Fiddler’s Greens. Her experience as a farmer, project manager, and cannabis advocate has positioned her to navigate the extremely complex regulatory framework in California. She obtained the first cultivation permit in Sonoma County as well as securing manufacturing and distribution licenses, led Fiddler’s Greens successfully through 3 major ‘extinction events’ in the CA regulated market and built a successful, vertically integrated brand.

Shannon is a board member of Sonoma County Grower’s Alliance, she is on the Advisory Board and a founding member of the Hessel Grange, and she is a member of the Sonoma County Hemp Advisory committee. Shannon and Cameron have made it a priority to transition the collaborative and compassionate aspects of the cannabis community into their cannabis business by supporting small heritage farmers and herbalists, working with local professionals, and working directly with patients and their families to ensure they have access to the medicine they need.
