Sean Kennedy is a chemical engineer and Product Manager at Purolite, where he applies his expertise in ion exchange resins and adsorbents to critical separation challenges. With his strong understanding of chemistry and practical experience, Sean uses his skills to bring the voice of Purolite customers into product development and create new and innovative solutions.
Sean’s involvement with the cannabis industry began with THC remediation from CBD oils using reverse phase chromatography to reach regulatory levels. His involvement has since expanded as the industry needs are shifting, and his expertise can be applied to new areas like minor cannabinoid separation, delta-8 catalysis, and other refining of post-extract cannabinoid blends.

When Sean is not at work, he enjoys going on runs, playing video games, and trying out new restaurants/breweries. Sean also enjoys spending time with his wife Melissa, their daughter, Isla and dog, Hank.
