Katherine Golden, RN, has served the medical community for over 22 years and for the past 4 years has worked as a cannabis nurse educator and consultant. She is the CEO, Executive Director & Co-Founder of Leaf411 which launched November 2018.

Leaf411 is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit and is the first national cannabis nurse hotline providing a free-to-public, educational and directional support phone hotline for both skeptics, novice and experienced cannabis users alike. Her 22 years of experience brings vast knowledge in a variety of nursing roles (med/surg, Ob/gyn, maternity, OR, etc.). Her spotless nursing career started in California in 1997 and she has been a registered nurse in the state of Colorado since 2005.

Her intro into cannabis medicine was a very personal journey with a young family member diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and since then she’s developed a strong passion for implementing innovative plans of care to improve patients’ quality of life along with educating the community-at-large about this beautiful plant.

Katherine is a proud wife and mother. She received her Associates of Science degree in nursing from El Camino College School of Nursing in Torrance, CA, and has obtained seven separate cannabis-related nursing certificates through The Medical Cannabis Institute (TMCI Global), Radicle Health Cannabis Therapeutics for Medical Professionals certificate course and Healer. She is a proud member of American Cannabis Nurses Association (ACNA), Cannabis Nurse Network (CNN), Americans for Safe Access (ASA) and a member of numerous other cannabis related patient and professional advocacy groups to ensure she is up to date on the latest science and the most current issues.
