This has been my mindset for as long as I can remember. I’ve always valued curiosity, innovative ideas, pushing boundaries and tenacity, and I have never turned down an adventure.
I grew up in Michigan and the UK, completed my Engineering degree at the University of Illinois, and worked for 2 Fortune 500 MedTech companies for over 20 years. My work moved me to Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Denver, California, and Arizona. I am grateful for my successful leadership roles in Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, HR, Finance, Sales, Ops, Customer Service, Regulatory, M&A, and Marketing. I earned my MBA at Indiana University at night and I took a 10-month sabbatical to be a white-water rafting guide and skiing info patrol in Vail when transitioning back to the US from Asia. I started and sold a wine bar restaurant. I launched a tech startup. I’ve consulted and helped many other start-ups along the way as well. Living in so many places and working in so many roles has given me a unique perspective on how to define and accelerate growth and success in emerging segments.
And now? Now I am most passionate about helping inspired ideas, people and companies succeed. To this end, I am currently supporting this passion with my Bizboxes start-up that I started in January based on a family of disruptive patents my husband filed over a year ago. I love that this new adventure has brought me more fully into the cannabis space (it’s such a creative segment, with amazing people, that continues to evolve and grow).
I live in Phoenix, Arizona with my husband, kids, dogs and a bearded dragon. I stay active at my gym and spend much of my free time hiking. I love to travel to see new places and old friends.
