Amaechi Uzoigwe is a NYC-based executive & entrepreneur with a history of building successful & celebrated creative careers, campaigns and companies in the music space, plus significant experience in the worlds of film, TV, digital media & technology, live events and advocacy. With Run the Jewels, Amaechi co-manages all aspects of their career, creative marketing and business ventures, including cannabis, craft beer, apparel, TV/film & technology.

Amaechi’s expertise is working closely with artists & creators to optimize their work and help position them for larger success by getting their careers & projects resourced, financed, distributed and promoted effectively. He helps do that by bringing context to their content via Media, Marketing, Metrics & Monetization.

In addition to being a former strategic partner at Monotone Artist Management (Jack White, LCD Soundsystem, Danger Mouse, Vampire Weekend), he was the founding Chairman of the American Assoc. of Independent Music (A2IM), co-founder of iconic indie label Definitive Jux, juror for the 2019 Clio Awards, 3 time winner of the Libera “Marketing Genius” Award, and recipient of a Bronze award from Cannes Lions. He also serves as consultant to hedge funds, NGO’s & the arts sector, and will be launching an Africa-focused platform in 2021.
